Meditation “Golden Light”

Awakening Energy and Touching the Higher

The best time for this meditation

Meditation “Golden Light” is a simple yet powerful way to transform your inner energy and direct it to the higher. It is a practice of returning to yourself, a reminder that you are not just a body and mind, but a radiant presence.

The best time for this meditation is early morning, right after awakening, before you get out of bed. At this moment, when you are just waking up, you are especially sensitive and open. Subtle energies have not yet dissipated, the mind is not yet active, and in this state, golden light can penetrate the deepest layers of your being.

When the world awakens, when the sun rises, a great tidal wave of energy also rises. This is the moment of the highest natural uplift, and if you tune into this wave, your practice will become an easy glide along the river of life.
In the evening, when energy declines, it will take more effort.
But in the morning – you just soar.

So

Just lie as usual on your back in bed.
Keep your eyes closed.
Your body is calm, relaxed, the mind is not yet switched on – you are just awakening.

As you take a deep breath, imagine that the sun rises near your head – bright, warm, golden.
And this golden light starts to enter your body through the crown of your head.
You are like an empty vessel, and this light fills you up.
It penetrates your head, neck, chest, arms, stomach…
Descends lower – into your legs, down to your toes.

This is the light of creation.
It cleanses your entire being, fills you with vital force.
This is masculine energy – active, clear, directed.
Allow it to enter and nourish you.

Now – exhale.
Imagine how through the toes of your feet, soft, dense darkness enters.
It is like a great dark river – it flows through the whole body…
and exits through the crown of your head.

This energy is feminine.
It soothes, balances, makes you receptive and gentle.
It dissolves tension, carries away all worries.
You feel peace and deep rest.

Breathe slowly and deeply.
With each inhale – light fills you.
With each exhale – darkness washes you from within.

Stay in this process for 20 minutes,
especially in the morning, right after awakening –
at this time you are especially sensitive,
and the effect of meditation will be especially deep.

Another very favourable time for this meditation is the moment before sleep. When the day is over, worries are let go, and you lie down in bed.

Just lie on your back, close your eyes, let your body sink into calmness. And as soon as you feel you are on the edge between wakefulness and sleep – in this fragile, subtle transition – begin the practice.

Imagine that with every inhale, warm golden light enters your body through the crown of your head. It fills your head, neck, chest, stomach… descends all the way down to your heels. It cleanses, fills, transforms. This is the energy of the sun, the energy of creation.

And on the exhale – imagine that calm, velvety darkness begins to rise from your feet. It is like a living river, gentle and deep. This energy softly passes through the whole body and exits through the crown of your head. This is the energy of the moon, the energy of relaxation, feminine energy.

Breathe slowly… deeply… naturally. Just observe, don’t interfere. If you fall asleep during this practice – that’s wonderful. The effect of meditation will continue to penetrate inside, working in the subconscious, gently and imperceptibly.

If you do this meditation twice a day – morning and evening – even for just three months, you will be surprised: the energy that constantly accumulated in the muladhara, in the lowest, sexual centre, will no longer stay there – it will start moving upwards. The transformation will happen by itself. Calmly. Naturally. From within.

And let the golden light become a bridge between you and the infinite.
Let it remind you: you are part of the dawn, part of the Universe, part of the eternal radiance.
